The Brazilian Meeting on Inorganic Chemistry (BMIC) is a biannual scientific conference and it is one of the most important events in the Brazilian Chemical Society. Its attendance has grown steadily, including chemists and related researchers from all continents.
Since 2016, the BMIC has been held in parallel with the Brazilian Meeting on Rare Earths (TR, Portuguese acronym), gathering researchers and students from the areas of Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, and Rare Earths Chemistry and Physics.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to announce that the XX Brazilian Meeting on Inorganic Chemistry (XX-BMIC) and the IX Brazilian Meeting on Rare Earths (TR-2022) will be held in Bento Gonçalves – RS, a small touristic city in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul. Bento Gonçalves is characterized by the influence of Italian colonization and holds an important industrial area in the Rio Grande do Sul and Brazil (Valley of the Vineyards). In this 2021 edition, we will also count on the II Workshop on Theoretical Bioinorganic Chemistry (WTBC) on the first day of our event.
The conference will be placed at the Dall’Onder Grande Hotel from September 12 to 16, 2022 and will present a discussion forum on the latest developments including the following thematic areas:
We look forward to welcoming you to Bento Gonçalves in 2022!
